You guys do still have grizzly bears while we shot all of ours so that's one point for Alberta. We do still have black bears and mountain lions though and condors put up a mean fight for a carcass I hear. Sadly they also killed off all the jaguars locally as well. That said these guys are known to grab the occasional swimmer:

Oh, I forgot wolves. You guys still have them while we don't any more. I believe the local wolf subspecies was the Mexican wolf but they're practically extinct now and if you want to see them you have to go to Arizona or the breeding center they set up here in the local mountains. I know a few years ago some environmentalists wanted to release a few back into the wild around Anza Borrego state park in east county but the local ranchers had a **** fit so it doesn't look like we'll be getting any wild wolves here again soon.
