I went for a walk today at one of the local reservoirs, it was in the mid 70's & everything was green from all the rain we've had recently, the skies were completely clear, when I looked to the west there was the bright blue ocean while to the east were snow covered mountains. The winter storm had dropped two feet of fresh snow in the mountains while on the coastal plain it was warm and sunny. No wonder Asher is filled with envy.

That picture is actually from a few years ago and right now the snow level is down to just 1500ft but it's the best I can do until the local paper publishes some new shots.

The dam at lake Hodges is over flowing because we've gotten so much rain this winter. It makes for a cool picture.

I'm not sure Asher will be jealous. He may have no concept of warm weather or nice beaches. He is in the frozen wastelands of Alberta you know.

I lived in the actually-nice part of California for four years.

I can say, without a doubt, that Calgary's scenery is better.

For the record, I hate warm weather. Warm weather is for cowards who can't handle the cold.

Bad constitution or rather bad amendments to the constitution passed by special interest groups who flooded the process with money. A large part of that was fixed last election cycle too.
