By the metric of how many more elephant balls they suck. I heard it from the same guy who tells Alby about foreign customs. Apparently sucking elephant balls is a national pastime there. They also use squat ****ters.

They seem to categorically beat you in all of the important ones (quality of life, life expectancy, success at hockey, etc).

While not nearly as important as hockey success Sweden also has a negligible deficit and around 33% public debt to GDP - in fact it's halved since 1998 and is at its lowest level since the 70ies.

Sweden is in the reverse situation compared to US (and many European countries). We've had our debt crisis and worked through it. The same feat could be harder to accomplish in countries notorious for their tax allergy, fractured politics and lack of leadership.
