What do you mean by topic? Race? Religion? Politics?

I'm sorry if my definition is wrong, but this is how I think a intelligent conversation is defined.

                I'm short on words.
That was my reply to the film.
I felt the film explains itself and I should not have to explain what was in the film.
If people are interested in the topic of the film they can leave a comment, statement or question.
If so chosen to discuss I'm willing to discuss.

Dashi your starting to lose what little bit of validity you have with me.
                          I am trying.
You seem to be more concerned with insults and belittling me.
If your going to continue, I would rather you just put me back on ignore so my post will not bother you.
                          FYI
The story is starting to get picked up by major news outlets.
Maybe you should go see the video before making comment

DocFeelGood is the intelligent conversation you want something like the philosophising that the US government has more threats or close-calls than the public realises? If so I believe it could be possible, but then again I watch 24, so I might be biased. Or are you suggesting that the allowance of such people to philosophise about hidden close-calls or conspiracy for some other agenda?

I'm a little bothered by the fact that the Gov does not trust the American public to tell us the truth.
How can we believe anything the gov says if they lie or withhold information.
If the Gov would tell the truth more often then I think there would a lot less conspiracies floating around.
Yes, there are some military topics that should be kept secret.
As to there reason, I can only guess to prevent panic. As to the outcome of the guessed panic, I don't know.
I live in Houston, a major port with oil refineries. I don't think panic would make much of a difference to me as there is nothing that could be done about it.
                              IMHO
I just want to be told the truth.
I hope this explains your question.

Houston, also where Ground Control was for NASA, I believe? I remember there being a film called Oil War, which suggested that in the next year a category 5 cyclone could've destroyed the oil platforms and fuelled by conflict in the middle east could've led the US into a Depression. Ironically, Cyclone Katrina happened in that predicted year, but fortunately did not damage the oil tankers. Although with the recent BP spillage, and the possibility of worse cyclones to come, maybe it could become a possibility? I also have heavy concerns that the US is not ready for the retiring of the Baby Boomer generation, and that the health systems will become overloaded, and there would be much lack of employment, unless educational systems change perhaps, or if the Mexicans are this time allowed to cross the border, legally.
