We dont have anything from Khufu claiming to have built the Great Pyramid, just some suspect - and I mean very suspect - scribbling allegedly found by Col Howard Vyse in some inconsequential crawlspace. The scribbling even made the same mistake in Khufu's cartouche found in a book on Egyptian hieroglyphs published around the time he made his "discovery". And with the exception of a pyramid near the waterway of Joseph in upper Egypt prone to flooding even when it was built, no pyramids have ascending galleries, etc. They just have the descending path going under ground. Its possible even the Egyptians didn't know about the chambers and grand gallery in the Great Pyramid... That doesn't mean aliens built it, but it doesn't prove Khufu built it either. I dont think he did, I think he adopted an already standing pyramid built by someone else, and his immediate successor did not approve - he built his north of the Giza plateau even though there was supposedly ample room for 2 or 3 more pyramids right next to the Great Pyramid.
Sitchin does a good job of tearing down the fiction that Vyse found proof of Khufu as the builder...Comment
