To whom it may be concerned,
I once saw a documentary series called Ancient Voices. One episode was about the idea of Noah's Ark Biblical Flood, being based on the Sumerian immortal flood survivor in the Epic of Gilgamesh. Apparently by counting back to the first king in the dynasty that either led to Gilgamesh, it related around the year 5500 and 6500 BCE, which although more recent was the time period where the Black Sea was filled by the rising Mediterranean Sea at the end of the Ice Age. There has also been suggested that around that time, the Indo-European Language began to spread from the area of the Black Sea or nearby Armenia depending on the theory. Now it is of note to realise that from the Indo-European language comes Greek (there was a flood that was survived by Prometheus's descendent Deudecilion (I'm not sure if that's spelt correctly)) Sanskrit (there are myths of a great flood in India), and also Persian, one of the many languages of Mesopotamia, the birthplace of agriculture, and also home to the city of Ur, which Abraham was sent to have been sent from. Don't know if this is of any interest to people. Oh and by the way, they apparently found a 10th planet several years ago, technically a dwarf planet like Pluto, the 10th planet being called Sedna. Also there are a number of large asteroids in the Kuiper Belt and Oort Cloud, most just can't be seen clearly unless they occlude a star's brightness or have some element of reflection, depending upon its contents.
Peace,

If he's so great why doesn't anyone in the scientific establishment take him seriously? Have you considered that possibility that the scientific community actually knows what it's talking about?APOSTOLNIK BEANIE BERET BICORNE BIRETTA BOATER BONNET BOWLER CAP CAPOTAIN CHADOR COIF CORONET CROWN DO-RAG FEDORA FEZ GALERO HAIRNET HAT HEADSCARF HELMET HENNIN HIJAB HOOD KABUTO KERCHIEF KOLPIK KUFI MITRE MORTARBOARD PERUKE PICKELHAUBE SKULLCAP SOMBRERO SHTREIMEL STAHLHELM STETSON TIARA TOQUE TOUPEE TRICORN TRILBY TURBAN VISOR WIG YARMULKE ZUCCHETTO

One of those scientists was EC Krupp, he said Sitchin was wrong about the cylinder seal va 243 representing our solar system. Krupp said it was Jupiter against the backdrop of the teacup (Sagittarius). Sitchin wrote him with proof it was not the teacup and Krupp acknowledged Sitchin's rebuttal was valid. I've read the enuma elish, it does describe the creation of more than 5 planets (or whatever "the scientists" claim the Sumerians knew about...) And it does match up with va 243. Thats 2 sources claiming knowledge of several more "unknown" planets, and Democritus told his fellow Greeks there are more planets than can be seen - that was after he traveled to Egypt and Mesopotamia. You continually trash talk Sitchin but I never see anything other than trash out of you.

Scientists get stuff wrong, sure, but science as a process gets stuff right, in the long run, pretty much every time. Nothing else has the same track record.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

it aint science thats wrong, just how humans interpret the science
for example, a main part of Sitchin's theory is that a planet once existed between Mars and Jupiter - where the asteroids now reside. This planet was the proto-Earth, a larger planet covered with water. It was struck by the moons of an invading planet and eventually hit by the invader itself with part of it being pushed into a new orbit closer to the sun.
But the theory wrt asteroids is they are remnants of planetary formation - not a destroyed planet, but a failed planet - the stuff needed for planets that failed to form a planet because of Jupiter's gravity. Among all the interesting questions this raises is: why did Jupiter form before a planet 1/2 the distance from the sun? Another is: how did Earth end up with such a large moon and all this water? How should we interpret limited data that can tell different versions of "creation"?
What happens when we continually get evidence supporting Sitchin's theory? There's a bunch of it...

I'm not saying that is the case here but it means you shouldn't automatically dismiss "pseudoscience" or "paranormal" stuff.
Sitchin does deserve some credit though, his batcrap theories were a major inspiration for Stargate.APOSTOLNIK BEANIE BERET BICORNE BIRETTA BOATER BONNET BOWLER CAP CAPOTAIN CHADOR COIF CORONET CROWN DO-RAG FEDORA FEZ GALERO HAIRNET HAT HEADSCARF HELMET HENNIN HIJAB HOOD KABUTO KERCHIEF KOLPIK KUFI MITRE MORTARBOARD PERUKE PICKELHAUBE SKULLCAP SOMBRERO SHTREIMEL STAHLHELM STETSON TIARA TOQUE TOUPEE TRICORN TRILBY TURBAN VISOR WIG YARMULKE ZUCCHETTO
