The day part of the Internet died: Egypt goes dark
No, just trying to limit this old man's confusion.

You were hardly alone on that. Tunisia got everyone looking at other arab countries.
I'm going to go way out on a limb and say this is a distinct possibility in Yemen and Jordan.

Except IIRC you replied to my post by saying that you didn't think it was likely to happen in Egypt...
You do not RC. I said the commentary I read about internet/cell use being lower in Egypt made it less likely.
I took no position on whether it would happen or not but certainly considered it a distinct possibility, hence my interest in the topic.

You said I was hardly alone, inferring that you agreed with me, whereas when I was talking it up - you were talking it down. People can make their own minds up on our respective positions on this topic...
Link it. I'm pretty sure my position was as stated above. I didn't have a position as I recall but memory may fail me.
Regardless, the prediction is lame. It was also a "distinct possibility" Tunisia would be a one-off. If you want to take credit for predicting what everyone was talking about I guess that's your prerogative.
If you really want to impress me with your foresight on this issue show me a prediction of this sort pre-Tunisia. That would impress me.
