That's a lot bud, and very bad for you health, especially in the long term.

      The Kid knows.

He is living proof that one of the long term side-effects of alcohol abuse is to become a born again Christian and turn into an utter tw@t...

      Stay on the wagon, Berz!
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

TY, I will... without a doubt. I "needed" chantix to quit smoking but this will remind me the next time I think about getting a mixed drink on the golf course. A beer or 2 is fine but the "spirits" can be insidious. I do see a bunch of old timers on the course and they aint drinking booze, they got water or sports drinks - I guess I'll be joining them.

rickety, I was more concerned when I didn't think alcohol had anything to do with it and I was telling myself I'd head for the medical pros... But the timing is almost undeniable, I just had a hard time believing my intake was that bad since I very rarely got "drunk". But I cant deny these symptoms, I was drinking too much. I cant believe anyone would consider pot worse than booze...

Ketchup can help a lot with those withdrawal symptoms too. Anytime you feel a little dizzy, shaky, confused, delusional, or just plain need a drink, just pour out a shot glass of ketchup and toss it down the hatch. You'll feel better in a few minutes. You might even want to start carrying around a flask of ketchup when you're out of the house.

The next thing is to convince Berz to quit golf.

No, but seriously Berz. Good for you.

I threw everything out that was in my fridge a couple of weeks ago. I know for a fact that there were things in there that were 3 years old, maybe longer, but I know 3.
I decided, take no chances. Out it all went.

I just read up on withdrawal, and all the advice tells me to go see a doc before quitting But symptoms can last quite a while, weeks, even months or years in more extreme cases. And the best temporary fix? More booze Its been about 8 days now and no significant changes, still got the headache and vertigo, but apparently Vita B1 (Thiamin) is supposed to help.

and Jhonny Vegas is for real, nice pick Ming

Actual withdrawal doesn't last more than 3 to 5 days, though craving may last for a long time. Thiamine is a good idea. There are lots of things that can cause headaches and dizziness, go see a doctor.
