If Billy Yank has never had occasion to even hear of Gervais' existence but has Carell's overhyped tripe shoved down his throat day in and day out, whereas Jack Limey is routinely made well aware of both, is there not information asymmetry with regard to their respective choices of whether or not to consume Gervais' work product?

over her 30+ year career to Harry Potter side kick

Worldwide Gross - $6,356,237,878

in his 10 year career. Grint made 2 non-Potter movies with total worldwide gross of less than $400,000.

Also: the only person to make Piers Morgan Tonight watchable? Ricky Gervais. Interesting how he's so confident that everyone had such a good sense of humor and took it well, including even RDJ who was clearly "joking." If so, RDJ's just about deadpan enough to make Steven Wright look like Dennis Miller.

So, Hopkins is better than Reeves in the US, but Reeves is better globally. Also, the US is clearly more cultured than the rest of the world.
