The one I have I have owned since college (10 years ago) and I bought second hand so it is pretty old. The repair man said that the bearings are going out on it and it would be $200-$300 to fix it so at that price I think I'll just be buying a new one. On the upside I've seen some front loader washer and driers in the $500-$700 range (each) so it's probably a good time to buy. Does anyone have any suggestions about which brands are good or what features to make sure I get?

Try Baukneckt. Mine is 25 years old, costed ~$1000 and has been repaired for $100 (broken waterpump). With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Whirlpool or Maytag are always good. Samsung and LG seem highly regarded.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

I actually looked at some recently. I still don't think my input would be very helpful, but here it is just in case your aversion to Arizona was so great it convinced you to move to the other side of the world:
There's a place called "Abenson" or something like that in the Island City Mall that offers real washing machines, rather than the plastic cans with some buttons on them that everyone else carries. So if you're in Tagbilaran, check them out.

You moron, no one was posting anything on the forum period. It like was like an hour with only my one post and no new posts in any thread so shut your trap. Then again at least you posted so I guess even a post by you is better then a completely dead forum.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.
