You can most certainly hate what you've heard many times. It's not prejudice, it's taste.
I never cared for Black Sabbath when I was younger yet I had one friend that was convinced that if he just played me the right song, LOUD ENOUGH, he would finally win me over.

    Albie reminds me of him.

Ok, back to the original topic. I spilled a lot of beer on my keyboard when I read this:

That's the exact same thing that Decca said to Brian Epstein when they heard The Beatles' demo tape.
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
      Once again...

Just when I thought garbage bands like Journey couldn't get any worse you go and post that. Holy ****. That is truly goddamn awful.

I notice how Wezil doesn't denigrate all of rock music because he doesn't like a single band and yet he denigrates an entire genre called hip hop because of what exactly?

Perhaps because the entire genre known as "hip hop" is soulless, talentless crud masquerading as music.

I didn't diss Ozzy. I just said I didn't care for it. Different strokes.

All the rock music you post that consists entirely of someone screaming and you say that

Albie, I said nothing of the sort yet you continue to say I did. I actually said I have a limited tolerance for the genre.

You'd probably find yourself with a lot more support if you didn't piss off the support you do have.

                      You compared him to Albie.

                      Nuff said.

Yep. One day your taste may mature enough to appreciate real music.

Er, that's a pretty disgusting mis-quote you did there. I didn't say that, I was quoting people saying that 20 years ago. Feel free to correct your poor citation.

No, I compared Albie to my friend.

Do I have to say nothing but good things about all Ozzy fans as well as Ozzy? How deep does this hero worship go?

Oh. I seem to have mis-read your post.

(saying good things about Ozzy can't go too far wrong. He was ****ing awesome in his day)

                                This article is almost pointless.

Guitar/rock bands barely even release singles in the UK these days, they cost a fortune to promote and never get on the radio. They'll probably do a video, send it to radio and have it download only if at all.

Gig ticket sales and albums might be more representative.
