        No idea, but if it's some kind of new gun control law it's ridiculous to think it'd stop something a week later.

            It was. Texas is on the brink of authorizing open-carry. Personally, I think concealed is fine. You never know.

                California already has one of the strictest gun control laws in the country, and it failed to stop an attack like this. California likely has stricter laws than most Canadian provinces.

                    Again, as I said above, you're retarded if you think a state ban will do **** all in your country. Unless at every border crossing you have reasonable inspections to prevent gun smuggling or gun trafficing, state-wide or city-wide bans are totally useless.

                        Marijuana is also banned. Just talk to Felch if you want to know how well that ban is working out.

                        When my brother went canoeing in Front Royal a few months back, the canoe rental shop owner had a fully-automatic machine gun on the wall. He proudly stated that it was "thoroughly illegal in all 50 states".

                              Obviously you wouldn't. The implication is it should be a national initiative as the national borders are patrolled and regulated. That's not to say they're impenetrable.

                              Do you think the UK and Canada regulate guns on a provincial/county level? No, it's national.
