Cite! We had student protests, no racial riots.

You think Rodney King couldn't happen now? And if it did happen that the reaction would be massively different?

I knew you wouldn't read what I said.

Yeah, and one out of ten Krauts want the Führer back. Then again, I know some guy who choose Albert Speer as nick at one time, if that doesn't prove that the whole North American continent is full of nazis I don't know....

No. There's been a number of Black guys who were more innocent than Rodney King who were beat down and/or murdered by cops (usually NYPD) and no riots happened. Amadou Diallo, Sean Bell, etc. The LA Riots had a lot more to do with the general social climate than Rodney King specifically. King was beat in 1991 but obviously music groups like NWA had already been out and were already speaking from anger towards police brutality beforehand.

And I did read what you said.

Why would NYPD cause LA riots?!

Would people in London riot because of something that happened in Moscow? Actually Moscow to London is probably closer than NY to LA.

Huh? The LA Riots were in response to LAPD. I was just pointing out that most of the high profile police brutality cases since then have been with NYPD, like Diallo and Sean Bell.

What the hell are you talking about?

I am suggesting that LA is still prone to rioting, you started talking about things NYPD have done. I don't see what the possible relevance is.

My postulate is that if there is a high profile police brutality case in LA you could still see rioting. Apparently it nearly kicked off in Oakland after a cop was let off shooting a kid on BART, but it wasn't that severe in the end. And Oakland still isn't LA.

I meant LA's not as hard as you seem to think it is. They have gangs but so what? LA aint ****. Their murder and crime rates are nowhere near Detroit's, Philly's, Camden's, etc.

You know how many Philly cops get killed every year?

Ok, we get it, you live in a violent **** hole. And what's that got to do with the issue at hand? Nothing.

I'm pointing out that other cities are worse with the crime especially anti-police violence and you don't see riots.

Is that supposed to prove that nowhere in the US has racial tension?

My point: There is some racism and racial tension in Europe, it is IMO misguided to suggest it's much worse than in the US.
                              Your point: ?

I want to know how having a Muslim minority makes European countries have Sharia and enforced Hijab when very few Islamic countries enforce hijab as is and have never enforced it in any modern context.

PH's racist European ignorance is showing, I think.
                                (1) Do you understand I am trolling you?

                                (2) Do you understand there is a time difference between Europe and the Americas and that when you were "calling me out" I was fast asleep.

But anyway, my "racist European ignorance" that you are referring to. Well the recent voting for the BNP has come about from some reaction to the established political parties not being seen to represent the views of a large section of the population, hence this protest vote. And yeah, there is always a certain element of reaction to large waves of immigration and problems achieving integration and controlling the flow of immigration, which to be fair, I think the Labour government has been particularly poor at achieving. Such a large influx has provided some tension in the UK, and throughout Europe for that matter as you can see.

But the BNP passed their peak a bit ago and their share of the vote has fallen considerably in the last general election.

Oh, and on a side note, I've seen how you Americans treat and talk to Mexicans. You have no position to lecture me or fellow Europeans on racism.
