In this context it is in reference to the Books of Moses and the Prophets. Jesus was directly asked if that meant they were being overturned and he said "No".

Likewise, why is this so hard a concept for you to grasp? To know doesn't mean you control. How does knowing something will happen negate the free will for people to do what they wish?

I am not a Calvinist (and neither is the majority of Christendom); I don't believe in predestination.
Nonsense. You may have a sensation that you have free will, but if someone(Yahweh) already knows what choice you are going to make(being all knowing) then it's already pre-ordained.

The majority of Christiandom goes "nu-uh! That sensation of free will really is free will" because they know the whole thing falls apart if God is truly all-knowing and all-powerful, then it doesn't matter a wooden nickel what you do, as it's all pre-ordained.

Hey I forget, which of us was advocating harassing people at their homes again? Was it me(the guy who limits his Proselytizing to the internet), or you?

My roommate at Uni invited a couple door to door JW's in for a toke while we discussed their beliefs.

You've never seen them scramble off a doorstep so fast.

I've asked Mormons about their secret underwear before, or Kolob, which they don't like mentioning on the initial pitch. Last time they knocked on my door at 0730(!) on a Saturday. Staggering forward like a bear waking from hibernation, in a shirt entirely too small for my girth, I told them that they interrupted me playing with my balls.

                  • I haven't had one knock in the decades since as there aren't many fundies in these parts.

I think they(Mormons/JWs/Baptists) target my apartment complex because of the large number of Korean immigrants in it.

Well that and there's no way to prevent anyone from getting into the buildings.

It's the power company salespeople that seem to sneak into my place. I see them at least once or twice a year.

I don't advocate harassing people. I also don't include knocking on people's doors as harassing.

It either has a good effect or a bad effect. "According to whom" doesn't make sense.
