  • Homeopathy supporters can also go on at great length in support of their belief. They ardently believe it and nothing, absolutely nothing, will convince them otherwise. If you still disagree after they have painfully explained it to you it can only be because you simply don't understand.

      • It is not my duty to disprove your claims Jon.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Present your evidence.

        • Some questions for teh religious:
          1. What makes religion in general a good way to find truth
          2. What sets your particular religion above the others
          3. What evidence is there that one or more gods exist
          4. What makes your god(s) good

The better question is "How can one distinguish a crazy person from a person who talks with god".

The first case is simply religious delusion. i.e. The flood water people we talked about earlier praying for relief.

The second case speaks to more serious mental illness (hearing voices).

            • I think GOD and science can co-exist.
ask me a hard question and lets see if I can come up with a answer.
Just don't make fun of my answers.

                • Actually, that is a much better idea, since I should be working.

Read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polkinghorne and show that his religion makes claims counter to science. He is a smarter man than I.

ok, but if you were in dire need would you try prayer?

                    • Hey JM, Doc,

What is your view on the First Church of Christ?

Is it a proper church or is it just a cult?

For that matter, what is a proper church and why are there so many of them!?
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

This sounds like another person trying to dodge our questions. Religious people, if you are so sure God exists, prove it! Otherwise, what is it that you are basing this seemingly blind faith on...?
