MSNBC has suspended Keith Olbermann, not for political donations, but for failing to get his bosses approval for the donations.

Maybe this is a big reason for it:
The donation to Grijalva came on the same day the Democratic incumbent appeared on "Countdown," Politico reported."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi
"I have nothing against Wilson, but he's nowhere near the same calibre of QB as Flutie. Flutie threw for 5k+ yards in the CFL." -Ben Kenobi

While Matthews isn't particularly insightful, I don't think it's reasonable to lump him in with that crew.12-17-10 Mohamed Bouazizi NEVER FORGET

theres a thread at cfc on this and someone posted an article about a recent shake up in MSNBC management, Zucker is out and some Repub supporting Comcast exec is in control now.
But I'm pissed at MSNBC, they skewered Sue Lowden (Nevada) paving the way for Angle to win the primary, then they immediately began ripping her apart. They ignored Rand Paul's views on the civil rights act until he won the primary, then they ripper him apart. They appeared to me to be trying to get the weakest candidate to win various GOP primaries. Thats a political party tactic, not something I'd expect from a "news" org. Hell, even Fox didn't do that.
true enough, she was warning her constituents about filling out the census until someone told her she could lose her seat if they actually heeded her warning.Bachman is more of a ****** than Matthews is.

I've seen that video. I thought it was awesome.Originally posted by DriXnaK View PostI think he was the one that hysterically demanded to know if Michelle bachman was hypnotized as she talked about the Republican win, to which Bachman replied that it must not be sending a tingling sensation up his legs anymore.
He kept asking her if she was "in a trance" because she kept giving the same answer to different questions."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
Ben Kenobi: "That means I'm doing something right. "

I for one am glad MSNBC enforces it's ethics rules like NPR does.
To bad Fox doesn't.

Who says Fox has ethics rules forbidding giving to political campaigns? Not all journalism outlets have that rule. Time Magazine, the New Yorker, etc don't prohibit campaign contributions, while some like the Washington Post and CNN forbid it all outright (NBC allows it if you have permission of your boss).“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
- John 13:34-35 (NRSV)
