Hey! I won't stand for you called Guy partisan!

Also, maybe O'Donnell will get a job at FOX news. She seemed to by vying for one.

      Talk about turning back time...

In a dramatic return to the statehouse in California, Democrat Jerry Brown is projected to win the gubernatorial race over Republican Meg Whitman.

Whitman, former CEO of eBay, has spent a record $150 million in a fierce battle for the seat currently held by actor-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger — in a race that appeared to be a toss-up on polling day. Brown, currently California’s attorney general, was California governor from 1975 to 1983.
He was governor when I was in the circus at Travis. Pretty cool. I wonder if he still sees Linda Ronstadt?

Well, the Dems lost the House by bigger margins than in 1994, but unlike in 1994 keep the Senate. Going to be two hard years. I am glad though that Angle lost in Nevada. She is not qualified to be a US Senator, and thankfully the people of Nevada woke up to the fact.

He's in second. He'd probably win it in a sweep, if it wasn't for Mirkowsky.

Yes, it's a good thing they kept Reid. 14% unemployment is hard to come by these days. The only reason they kept the senate is because they had to take senate seats from some of the most liberal places in the US. The fact that these races were even close is amazing. Boxer in danger of losing? What is the world coming to? Take a look at the senate seats in play in 2012 and you'll come to understand why not taking the senate now is meaningless. You're going to a see a 60 seat super majority in the senate for Republicans come 2012 if the momentum keeps up for the next 2 years.

Just like Obama's momentum kept up for two years, right?

Well I guess if the Republicans decide to try and pass the most radical liberal agenda in the history of the US, then you could be right. All they have to do though is create gridlock and show to America they are serious about decreasing the size of government and balancing the budget and they'll keep their momentum. You'd have to be really stupid to mess this up. People didn't even elect Republicans to do anything. All they want is for the Republicans to make it so everyone does nothing. If they can somehow get Obama to sign legislation for what they were elected to do, then great, but that's not going to happen. So they'll just keep throwing legislation at him and Obama will just keep vetoing it while the rest of America continues to get more and more pissed off and if the Republicans manage to not **** up, easy 2012 for them.

Since when did Americans want small government? Even California couldn't manage to legalize weed. It seems pretty clear that the majority of Americans want the government to actively manage people's private lives.

Oh, and as if Americans want a balanced budget. Somehow it's always cutting taxes and increasing spending that wins.

This country is so ****ed up.
