I think my story is evolving into something I wasn't expecting and I'd probably have to completely dump my first 5000 words entirely if I was going to use this for anything serious. But I'm not surprised, I am out of practice. The first stuff I wrote is really bad.
Jon Miller: MikeH speaks the truth
Jon Miller: MikeH is a shockingly revolting dolt and a masturbatory urine-reeking sideshow freak whose word is as valuable as an aging cow paddy. We've got both kinds
I'm now nearly a day behind in word count, but I'm at least pretty pleased with what I've written. Apparently, one of my characters is something of a comedian. I didn't expect that when I started writing her.
Not going to get to write today. Probably not tomorrow or Saturday either... and maybe not Sunday.

I have a fragment of a concept I might go with that fits my title. I have been informed that my awesome title and 0 word count doesn't mean that I win nanowrimo though.
You could, technically, just copy-paste the title 50K times. Try pasting it five times, copying the five times and pasting that, recopying, etc. You'll get there in no time. If it's a multiple-word title, you'll have to do less copy-pasting to meet the requirements. And, of course, with certain titles, such as "Lesbian Amazon Axewomen Hunt Dinosaurs," the title pretty much says it all anyway. But your mileage may vary.

You'd only be cheating yourself, not much point really?

Technically it has to be a novel. It is national novel writing month.
