    2008 = mandate except that it didn't (Klein begrudgingly now accepts)

    2010 = no mandate (according to Klein) except that it apparently did

      I agree, the Republicans taking the house is a much stronger mandate than the Democrats taking the House, Senate, and Presidency. However, if we could just vote for Supreme Court justices, I'm sure we'd have this all figured out.

        It wasn't a mandate. It was more of a restraining order.
        It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple
