I suggested this to a friend of mine after pointing out that we have an Awareness Month for every sob story despite only having 12 months in a year and she told me "we should make one for you, we'll call it Quit Being an Ass month". Regardless, as an example, October is:
Filipino American History Month, National Arts and Humanities Month, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, LGBT History Month, National Cyber Security Awareness Month, Fair Trade Month, and Dwarfism Awareness Month.
November is:
American History Month, Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, COPD Awareness Month, Novel Writing Month, Alzheimer Awareness Month, Diabetes Month, Lung Cancer Awareness Month, Homeless Youth Awareness Month, Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis Awareness Month, and Pomegranate Month.

Can we just have a Sick People Awareness Month? I feel like these are too many diseases for people to be aware of, even without crap like Dwarfism Awareness Month. What's that about, making sure you don't accidentally kick them in the face on the subway?
