I suggested this to a friend of mine after pointing out that we have an Awareness Month for every sob story despite only having 12 months in a year and she told me "we should make one for you, we'll call it Quit Being an Ass month". Regardless, as an example, October is:

Also, the rest of my friends have agreed with Sickness Awareness month, I think if I pressed her about it she'd say she needed a Menstruation Awareness Month right now.

I'm not sure what is gained by having me more aware of, say, breast cancer. I think, "okay, so I'm aware that breast cancer exists. Where do I go from here?" Presumptively I give somebody money and call myself a good person.
