Al B. Sure!: Not sure if I understand your sentence correctly. Thing is - he couldn't be sure what the right decision would be at the point he had to decide. After stuff happened, it's easy to be right, but when he was facing the choice he could only decide the way he thought was best. That it turned out the way it did is tragic, but is that enough to change the whole conduct in wars like Afghanistan? My answer would be no for the reasons stated above.

I don't think anyone was implying that the whole conduct of a war needed to be changed because of one incident.

Nah nobody implied it, but if we decide it's ok in this case then automatically the question arises - why not kill always based on suspected intentions?

Yes, it's his field, but his moral sense is plainly off-kilter. He's in the same position as a professional stunt driver who lost his eyesight: he knows the basic idea, but it's of no use to him.

Do Aspies have morals? Do they dream of unemotional sheep?

We are, if anything, typically too rigid in our morals. Our innate desire for order (speaking in extreme generalities) gives us a strong desire for fair play. We're also not "unemotional." Now, you may tack my brain structure onto your growing list of topics you don't know enough about to discuss intelligently and therefore should probably avoid. Also, I think your constantly bringing up the subject is starting to make you look like a douche even to other people here.

We had an asperger on these forums before named Bill3000. He attempted suicide. I hated the brat so I said stuff that got me temporarily banned.

You've eclipsed Ben in terms of being annoying.

He did? Then I guess it doesn't matter that I talked smack.

How'd you find out he lied about it?

Only because Ben is on your ignore list.

Has he grown up or is he still a sniveling bastard? He should be like 23 or something by now.
