  • Swedish election - could it end in violent revolution ?

I don't expect a new Stockholmian blodbath, less could probably be enough.

What really puzzles me is this political correct, probably approved by the proper establishment :

It's not the content of the article - that is written in the proper language phraising the swedish model and looking down on all other countries (denmark and norway in special) - lashing out at people that doesn't have the correct opinions etc. - that is to be expected.

What really worries me is that they allow several hundred critical comments to exist - that is pretty unusual. Has the moderators became so used to only see proper appraisals of the spoken word that they for got to check content or are they trying to prepare the ground for the reality that will be after the election ?
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

The Swedish monarchy is as popular as the one in Thailand so that won't happen any time soon. Besides it's more of a counter-revolution this.

It's honestly not that unusual I think although Expressen might be more tolerant than a socialist propaganda organ I could mention. They are more likely to censor or, better yet, turn off the comment function in crime news articles.

The sniping across Öresund has definitely gotten more vicious. I enjoyed the proposal to send election observers. Great troll

I don't know swedish law, but unless I'm very wrong then danish tv stations can't refuse to air commercials unless they are illegal - tobacco, child porn etc.

I have seen the one in question (danish news have showed it several times) and it isn't that bad.

The ad is one thing, but I find it way more disturbing to hear the chairman of TV4's sick excuses for not letting SD participate in the debates.

Can you imagine, people viciously throwing meatballs at one another! There will be blood everywhere. Well, actually, it would be cranberry jelly, but who can tell?

What a stupid ad. Given that it's a scandinavian country they probably overspend on the old people to begin with.

Who else looked at that and thought that the young people who will be productive members of society later (maybe) would be a better expenditure of resources?

Could one of you swedes please say that I have misunderstood your voting system

When you go to your voting place, you are handed over one ballot with all potential candidates/parties on it and it is produced by those responsible for the election, you are not expected to pick up one, evt more, ballots in public, each of them special for a certain party, and that it's not the individual parties responsibilty to produce and place them at the voting site.

I have read in a danish paper that it's the latter method you use, but assume that it's just some friendly swedebashing.
