I find it disturbing that we're spending so many words talking about a party that might not even make it over the 4% barrier.

This poster was apparently featured in the Stockholm subway. It is the current finance minister. All it says is his name and the name of his party. Can somebody tell me what the fwck?

Is he courting the gay swing vote?

Might as well post this here too to put things back in perspective.

Average of the September polls from 6 different pollsters current as of yesterday:

Leftist parties on the left, rightist on the right. Jokers in the center. Election day is Sep 19.

It's probably a Norwegian wording that can't be used in English?

Norwegian words can so rarely be used in civilized company. I mean, here in the US, a third rate politician used the medieval Norwegian word "niggardly" meaning stingy, poor, or ungenerous and there was a virtual firestorm of ignorant black political activists all falsely claiming it was some how related to the word "******" meaning a disparaging term for people of African ancestor. The problem for the activists was niggardly was a Norwegian word which entered usage in the English language sometime in the 12th century which means it was long before and totally unrelated to the 16th century hominem for people like Jessie Jackson who ignorantly ranted about the word niggardly.

The social democrats have yet again been accused of election fraud.

People working for the social democrats violated the rules by visiting voting places and "helping" the voters to vote by showing them where the voting papers were and how to vote. Same happened in 2002 and 2007, in 2007 a person went as far as to remove the voting papers belonging to the Sweden Democrats.

                          Way to go!

Not surprising given that the word was supposedly an 11th or 12th century Norwegian word which entered English about that time. Language usage has changed so much in the last nine to eight hundred years but dictionaries all say it is 11th or 12th century Norwegian for misery or ungenerous.

                            http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/niggardly

The key thing is it appeared in English several hundred years prior to black slavery or calling Africans "******s". Which is what people like Jessie Jackson tried to erroneously tie it too.

No, it's just that I get "Deutschland erwache" associations out of that particular phrase. I know it was accidental but you might want to avoid it in the future.

Btw, the picture is a group of Nazis holding a banner that says "Sweden wake up" ...standing around in a park at 5 am. You can't make this stuff up.
