Is that inappropriate in a thread discussing the merits of a psychometric test?

they should allow these sorts of programs to compete whit regular business or else they end up doing useless crap. yes your going to have the teary eyed story about the local hardworking guy going out of business because of it. but if else its pointless.

We already have 16-18 year old program called young enterprise, which helps groups of late teens organize small businesses. This gives the students experience of being an entrepreneur (one group had a prolific two week advertising campaign on school noticeboards asking ''how big was yours?'' Some weeks later, and after extensive discussion it turned out they were promoting an appropriately titled ''Ego'' club night)

The young enterprise experience also provides the participants with a standard business model, Which may not have been previously known. The students learn to follow an accepted formula with regards to running a successful business with differing level of responsibility and consequence. Students take the role of chairman, treasurer, etc and all that comes with it.

I sincerely hope young enterprise wasnt a tory idea, as Im biased like that

It's something good, so of course a government didn't come up with it.

I'm not sure that's actuary what he meant.

And it would have been wrong.

I realise "I don't" was stretching it out to two words, but surely if you go back and read those two words again, really carefully, you'll understand I was disagreeing, right?

The rest was just supplementary explanation. If "I don't" confused you, you'll forgive me for not attempting to explain further.

Let's be fair, Bugs. You would've said the same about me years ago (you might today as well).

Yea, it sounds a lot like Americorps to me, which seems to be a fairly well liked and useful program here in the US. As long as it isn't mandatory national service, it sounds like a good idea to me.
