Does anyone care? I wouldn't care if I was chatting with a DL as long as they were engaging on a topic. If someone goes to the trouble of creating DLs with distinct backstory and leanings, personally I salute the effort. I could never be azzed to do it.

Which is why I was never a big fan of bans. Short term bans have some effect, but not a lot.
