          I'm tired of:

Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven
          Lynard Skynard - Freebird
          Eagles - Hotel California

            Oh, and Wonderwall. Nuff said.

            Tripod is pretty good though.

"Song 2" is great if you understand the whole ****ing song was a send-up of grunge music that it ended up typifying.

Whatevs. It doesn't excuse the severe overplaying

"Wonderful tonight" by Eric Clapton. A stumbling, damp-trousered drunk's nauseating tribute to his enabling doormat of a wife.

there are loads of songs i hate, it's hard to pick just one or even a few. so i'll go for a slightly different angle and tell you about some arselicker ruining a song i love.

there's a cover of beats international's 'dub be good to me' by revelation, released in about 2002 called 'just be dub to me'. the vinyl had 3 mixes on it, the original mix, the revelation remix and the divine inspiration remix. the original mix is ok, a solid enough track, but nothing special.

the revelation remix however is a thing of beauty and grace. it's pretty near perfect for a trance song, a fantastic example of the 'banging prog' sound and would certainly be in my top 20. it's actually (IMHO) the best version of that song (dub be good to me) ever, and that track has been remixed and covered countless times.

the divine inspiration remix on the other hand is a steaming pile of turd. a lazy, ****ty two finger melody, craptastic drum programming and don't get me started on the bass line it's everything that's wrong with dance music. i'd to know whose idea it was to include it, so i could go and kick them in the balls!

Incidentally, the B side to "Imagine" is its polar opposite and one of the greatest songs ever written.

I actually like "imagine" just because of it's aversion for religion
