Oh Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful, please smite the unbelievers so their souls will burn in the fiery pits of hell for all eternity.

That wasn't Christianity, that was Catholicism.

Which is still one of the worse of the major parts of Christianity.

And we knew about gnostics before, it was just that we only had writings against them. Which turned out to reflect their beleifs correctly (if incompletely).

I am sure that more protestants have been killed than gnostics, by catholics.

Finally, Christians went to India very early. The intial Christians in India didn't have any gospel other than Mathew. I think they had some letters of Paul too.

They happily accepted the rest when it was brought to them in 400 AD or something.

                        They were Paulian.

                        Read about the Mar Thomas.

                          That's more middle age catholicism.
The letters of Paul clearly state that it is possible to disagree about things.
Not to mention of course that christianity in it's core is a religion with no political intention.

It has been hugely abused by christians, but there are also pacifists who use violence. We can't blame pacifism for that.

Paul's letter to the Romans (the core dogmatic letter of the New Testament) says about different opinions:

4 Who art thou that judgest the servant of another? to his own lord he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be made to stand; for the Lord hath power to make him stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day [alike]. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord: and he that eateth, eateth unto the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, unto the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and none dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; or whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ died and lived [again], that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living. 10 But thou, why dost thou judge thy brother? or thou again, why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment-seat of God.

Messages like this will defenitely not speed up the bureacratic process that I implemented for people who change their name twice in 1 week.
"Change name back within 1 week" requests are always handled on the first of the month.

edit: unfortunately next month, July 1st, my sister in law will marry, so it'll be July 2nd then.
edit2: oops, July 2nd my vacation to Denmark starts. August 1st you'll be the first!

Twelve hundred years from now, people will dig up some hoarder's old copies of National Enquirer and get very excited. For there, and there alone, they will find a suppressed alternate account of the demigod known as "Elvis," and the story of his continued life after supposed destruction. The "Birmingham Library" will also, I predict, be a rich source of alternate traditions regarding the God-King Kennedy's demise and the site known as Area 51. It will be an exciting time for scholars and historians.
