    This is a clear-cut example of dramatic irony (granting the premise that Kuci is implying, for the sake of argument).

    Dramatic irony is a disparity of expression and awareness: when words and actions possess a significance that the listener or audience understands, but the speaker or character does not.

        It says OBAMA'S ADMINISTRATION. Israel itself is quite pro-american.

        Bush was extremely popular with Israelis.

        EDIT: looked up poll numbers, it seems Obama has 3% approval with Israelis.

          Anybody who thinks that the Obama administration is "pro-Palestinian" more than "pro-Israeli" should probably get his head checked.

              Obama isn 't pro-palestine, but he is a lot more pro-palestine than past adminstrations.

                  Hey HC/Karol Capel, I wasn't making a statement about Israeli attitudes towards the US. I was making a statement of who Israel thinks we support.

                  And the fact that half of Israelis believe any administration is more pro-Palestinian than pro-Israel is shocking! You yourself kept saying how the US will support Israel through anything but apparently, half of polled Israelis disagree with you and think the US is more Pro-Palestinian.

                  That is...

                    You could say he is more Palestinian but I would use the phrase more neutral, myself. He's still pro-Israel but he's not as strident as previous administrations (especially shrub's) but he does actually ask Israel to do certain things (like freeze settlement expansion and have a thorough inquiry on the flotilla incident for example).

                      I was talking about congress, not the president. And again, that poll was about Obama, not America.
