        my family are pretty much english, all working class and from london and its environs, except for one grandmother who was welsh and from bridgend. most of her ancestors came from somerset and went to south wales to work in the mines.

              My family's been in the US for many generations now, so I'm pretty much a mix of all kinds of western European -- Scottish, Irish, English, French, German, Swiss -- with a bit of Cherokee mixed in.
