But look at it from a judge's perspective. Of course it's plausible, but what else are you going to base your judgement on except for witnesses? What, just because a witness is white means they couldn't have seen any black do anything wrong? Yes if they're all wearing white hoods when they're testifying, you might be able to disregard their testimony but it's not always that clear. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. How were these neckers sentenced before they have been convicted?I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

They were convicted for kissing on the lips and touching, based on the testimony of several witnesses. The case is under appeal.

Several people lied at the same time about a person they do not know. Seriously? Unless these witnesses have a history of working together to indict people, I don't see how you indict them. For all we know, restaurant employees as well as patrons testified.

By that rationale you could start a thread entitled "Man sentenced to death for being completely innocent!"Jon Miller: MikeH speaks the truth

But "atrocity"?? Please.
