Since 10% of the American people live in that state, and it's significantly wealthier than Texas, it could be the behemoth needed to stop Texan domination of American education.       How about a coalition of states boycotting those companies which sell school books to Texas? Maybe some states could mandate a section in their US history books explaining that the Texan revolution from Mexico was largely due to their desire to retain their slaves.

        If a bunch of wackos had total control of the amendments to major textbooks, why no intelligent design?

        Really, the changes are mostly reasonable and entirely meh.

          Your contention is that different aspects of curriculum should exist within the state? I don't agree.
