You haven't been reading me too closely. What value does money have in amounts beyond what you can spend, and beyond what you would need to save against actual future needs? I'm saying that a basketball player who changes teams because one offers $40 million a year and the other only 30 is wasting his time with the hassle of moving his stuff. He can't and won't use either amount in full, except on things which have no purpose but to show that he has money to burn--he just has a mindset that more necessarily=better.
