Even that does not support his stupid assertion.

That is about where Bush was right before November 2004. Don't recall him losing the election...

What thinking person gives a **** about '12 right now? Right now I'd be more concerned about the '10 elections and avoiding a repeat of '94 if I were Obama and anyone running for office under his banner.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Ron's son, Rand, is currently leading polls in his KY Senate race. His platform is different from Ron's. More anti-bailout rhetoric (although Ron spouts quite a bit of that), and less anti-war, monetary policy rhetoric.

          His approval is ~45%.

          Strongly Approve: ~23%

He had the largest drop in approval during the first year ever.

That assumes all the polls are equal, which they are clearly not.

A lot of people had unrealistic expectations of what he could do. Sorry, but he doesn't really have a magic wand or mystical negro powers.

If the economy and more important, unemployment percentages turn around quick enough he and the dems will be fine (and better off than they deserve). And if that does happen, the GOP/conservatives will really be squirming.

Of course he has mystical negro powers, even half-breeds do. Everyone knows that.

It's not a matter of what he "could" do. It's a matter of what he "would" do. He sold us out.

Here is hoping he's not named for Ayn Rand.

edit: apparently he isn't. It's short for Randal:

“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

                        So "Rand" is a nickname.

                          I like "Anthem"; it's a great 100-page-novel.

Nonetheless, thank god he's not named after Ayn. That could be the end of the dynasty right there, taking Kucinich as collateral damage.
