I guess I did watch a hockey game in a bar in NYC once. It was a goddamn Canucks game, though, which is probably why I never watched hockey again.

Considering the opening and closing ceremonies these were the most Nazi Olympic games since Berlin-1936.
Damn, Asher, the Olympic movement is all about uniting people of the world, not about telling the rest of the world how great and superior your country is compared to the rest of the world. And what we have seen at the opening and closing ceremonies? Canda this, Canada that, Canada is the greatest country in the world, Canada, Canada, Canada and one more time Canada.
You guys are maple leaf nazis. These ceremonies was a disgrace for the Olympic movement.

It's not surprising, considering how dumb you are.

Tough loss, but I can't help but think the future of American international hockey looks pretty bright. We just finished second with the youngest team in the Olympics and won the World Juniors this year, so the next couple Olympics should be good.
Canada-- perpetual favorites who have won the world Junior a ridiculous number of years in a row and who fielded a fairly young team this time as well. Imagine the possibilities for Doughty and Toews in 4 years times. Perhaps a Stamkos or Tavares
Russia--any team with Ovechkin and all those other weapons and on home ice ?? Seriously ??THey may splat but they will be among the favorites going in
As for the rest its tough to tell but for certain there will be a bunch more teams that are dangerous. And the lesson from this tourney is that you need to watch out for those lesser hockey nations. None of them are likely to medal anytime soon but hell teams like the Swiss or Germans or whatever can definitely throw a scare into the elite. Although there were a couple of bigger scores, I don't think there was any team that got embarrassed every gameYou don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

We are angry as hell now. Seriously.
In 2014 after four years of waiting team Canada will be totally assinated on our home ice. No single doubt about that. Because WE SEEK REVENGE.

Oh and Asher
I am not surprised that Ben won't own up on anything.
Ben being with Crosby ??-- we can leave aside the fact that Nash couldn't produce there very much at all or that Crosby overall didn't have a great tourney and that the vast majority of his points involved Iginla despite a couple of stretches when they did not play togther
But I don't know how many players make the pass Iggy did when being pushed down to his knees with an American essentially on his back and avoid Rafalskis stick. It was a tough play to make and Iggy made it.
Could other players make that clutch play at the most crucial moment? Perhaps .. . But with Iggy its not theoretical-- it happened . Jarome Iginla made the clutch play that led to Canada's gold medal. Ben you should repeat that to yourself a bunch of times as it is an undisputable FACT.
OH and last night I went back and watched that play and goal frame by frame through a couple of different angles. It was very sweet even on the 20th viewing. The shot wasn't even that great- an along the ice and between the legs that wasn't really that hard but the key was how very quickly he got it off.
And Ben re your Iggy opinion at the Olympics its ' Na na na na, na na na na Hey Hey hey goodbye"-- The game has ended, you lost. Everyone else is singing. You meanwhile are tranfixed, in a daze with your fingers firmly in your ears, not willing to acknowledge the reality of what has happened before you.
Say it again Ben-- you know you want to
