Congrats and good luck to Jon on this. It wasn't so long ago that he gave up his weekend to play Civ 4 with us at Polycon.
It's outstanding that a modder is given the keys to the kingdom.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Yay, new Civ, designed by a former polytubbie. Nice.
Oh, and the obligatory "I agree with Guynemer"
-Arriangrog want tank...Grog Want Tank... GROG WANT TANK!
The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

Can we request that one of the new Wonders can be "Socialised Healthcare"? Not sure it would add much to the game, but the fallout here would be priceless. The genesis of the "evil Finn" concept- Evil, evil Finland

The only thing better would be having to choose between George W. Bush and Barack Obama as the American leader."My nation is the world, and my religion is to do good." --Thomas Paine
"The subject of onanism is inexhaustable." --Sigmund Freud
