                      • Everyone thinks of the Ides of March as one-hit wonders ("Vehicle," 1973). Everyone thought they would be huge - openibg for Hendrix, Zeppelin, Joplin...



                        Few seem to realize that the main writer of that song, Jim Peterik, formed the band Survivor about 17 years later, and co-wrote their "one-hit wonder" hit, "Eye of the Tiger" (Rocky III, Mr. T) in 1990.



                        Can't think of anyone else who wrote "one-hit wonder" songs for two different groups...
