Our oil is too dirty for Obama.

With respect, that is pretty stupid.

"Mr. President, AQ is going to attack the US! We aren't sure when, where, or how, but they are going to attack!"

        "DO SOMETHING!"

I mean I don't like Bush, but geez.

That would be a great reply except it said AQ was going to crash planes in buildings in NYC.

Do you ever stop lieing, Oerdin? You're worse than Obama when it comes to telling the truth.

No, actually, it didn't. There WAS Hindsight 20/20 going on, but that was mostly limited to "these dudes at a pilot school don't want to learn how to land". This does not exactly narrow the field.

Why would Obama have done anything in response to 9/11 if he was the one who helped cause it? I mean, he might put on a show for the moderates (no need to speak to the lefties who support terrorism or the righties who had been redoubling their gun hoarding efforts since his election), but all that requires is attending some funeral services or whatever. He might also manufacture a couple of Oswalds and then deport them to where they can be quickly executed (in the case of foreign Oswalds) or else kill them off with a few Jack Rubys or genetically engineered flu outbreaks (does it count as genetic engineering if it's just RNA and protein?) or whatever in the case of domestic right-wing boogeymen.

It was eight years ago but I distinctly remember hearing the national security briefing Bush got before 9/11 said AQ was determined to strike at US and that they planned on crashing planes into buildings in NYC.

The US administration, CIA and FBI received multiple prior warnings from foreign governments and intelligence services, including France, Germany, the UK, Israel, Jordan, Afghanistan, Egypt, Morocco and Russia.[2][24] The warnings varied in their level of detail, but all stated that they believed an Al Qaeda attack inside the United States was imminent. British Member of Parliament Michael Meacher cites these warnings, suggesting that some of them must have been deliberately ignored.[25] Some of these warnings include the following:

                    * March 2001 - Italian intelligence warns of an al Qaeda plot in the United States involving a massive strike involving aircraft, based on their wiretap of al Qaeda cell in Milan.
                    * July 2001 - Jordanian intelligence told US officials that al-Qaeda was planning an attack on American soil, and Egyptian intelligence warned the CIA that 20 al Qaeda jihadists were in the United States, and that four of them were receiving flight training.
                    * August 2001 - The Israeli Mossad gives the CIA a list of 19 terrorists living in the US and say that they appear to be planning to carry out an attack in the near future.
                    * August 2001 - The UK is warned three times of an imminent al Qaeda attack in the United States, the third specifying multiple airplane hijackings. According to the Sunday Herald, the report is passed on to President Bush a short time later.
                    * September 2001 - Egyptian intelligence warns American officials that al Qaeda is in the advanced stages of executing a significant operation against an American target, probably within the US.
At no point is it ever specified that (1)NYC is the target or that (2)Certain specifics like "20 Jihadists in the US"(which is moronic, I would bet there are many more than that NOW in the US) ever made it up to the Presidential level.

Hold the Israeli government responsible and demand payment in Jewgold to cover the cost of reconstruction.

We actually had a good economy at the time. That wouldn't have been necessary.

So you are saying he wouldn't be for health care reform during a good economy?

Probably not in 2000. Too soon after Clinton's attempt.
