45 years ago I would have agreed, but not 25, heck that was the eighties. The revolution had been going for quite a while at that point.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Tia, do you have a good cupcake recipe? I'm going to enter into my a cupcake baking contest at church and want to smoke all the ladies who tell me that men can't cook.

I'm think of a carrot cake and caramel one right now.

Japher yes I do for applespice cupcakes with caramel icing, will type that up in about an hour when I get home. But what I really want to say is POOFDA!!!!

Since I didn't see you piping up Che, I did one better I found and contacted the actual artist who drew the chef pin up girl on the first page, shot him a picture of my mom, chatted with him a bit and he is now in the process of drawing me a pie lady! How cool is that!

If you don't have a written contract with him, pay him in a way that leaves a paper trail, such as with a check.

If he's an "artist-for-hire," then you'll own the rights to the drawing. If he just gives you the drawing, he may show up years later and claim that he still owns the rights to your trademark and that is a lawsuit which you do not want.

Tiamat, go to dreamstime.com and search for an image, you'll be paying no more than US$10 for a good image. You don't have to worry about copyright issues and you will get a nice large image.
Aim for a vector image too, that way you can use it for any medium in the future.

When you say animation, what exactly do you want? Animation is not easy for anyone, you could end up paying a high price to get it done right.

                Here's one I found:
Illustration about A young woman removing fresh baked cookies from the oven. Vector file included AI8. Illustration of cookies, women, baking - 9688056

                    That's awesome

Che is too busy being a slave to da man since he got a job. He's spending most of his days under his bosses desk now.

Thanks Zk, skimreading often backfires on me.

She's a blonde, and you're her daughter right, so maybe this photo is more appropriate?

You will want to purchase the Corel Draw version as it is vectorized, unfortunately you will need Corel Draw to open it (I am not sure if Illustrator can), but any graphic designer should be able to open it, convert it to JPG and send it to you. The beautiful thing about it being in vector format is that you can make it any size you want without loss of quality. Dreamstime states that it is 28 credits for the Corel Draw one, so that will = about $5 - $6 US Dollars. Not bad too bad..

Note that these are not animated (but will be much easier to animate since it is vector).

Tiamat, after seeing that image, I had an urge to "fix" it. Save it while you can, not sure how long it will be on the server for.
