If it is anything like that French movie District B 13 it should be decent. As long as it has free running...everything has to have free running now.

Note: It may have a different name, but when I first heard of this style/sport several years ago it was just called free running. For the ignorant of this sport it is what has been seen in the foot chase of Casino Royal, that white guy who jumped from the chopper in Live Free or Die Hard (that guy was one of the District B 13 actors), as well as that crazy Nike commercial with the guy being chased by the chicken.

Happy KH? I will just take it down to the quote in common usage, as used by patriots now and used by the radical extremist McVeigh (or however his name is spelled).

OK so I'm seeing good reviews for this. but then I read silly stuff about cat food (from the Ebert review). So err, umm how can a movie with cat food as a plot device be any good? So I'm looking for second opinions. How does this movie stand a few weeks after you've all watched it?

I have to say, I never once expected to see that question asked in any context. My first instinct is to say no.

If you are White and live in South Africa, you will hate it. If you are Black and live in South Africa, you just might like it, because it shows the way it was back in the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

I saw it last night. It was fairly original, in that I wasn't quite sure where it was going to go from twist to turn. I got motion sickness from the hand held though; that's a first for me.

This reminds me hasn't a white South African recently been granted asylum in Canada because he faced persecution in his homeland because the color of his skin?

                        Sorry, some spoilers here:

Great movie, who reckons there will be a sequel where they come back and destroy us?

Why did he (the alien scientist) not take the rest of his kind with him? I can imagine in a human situation, if all humans had gone nuts and only he remained sane, yes I can see why he would leave his own kind behind, but maybe they weren't nuts? What other reasons could there be. Anyway he seemed pretty pissed when he was inside the lab (you could almost see what he was saying, not caring about all the primitive technology firing about him, "these guys are ****ed the moment I get back home"), I have no doubt they will come back with vengeance, and I'd love to see that movie.
