Seriously.

“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

What are you gonna do at 3am and you've got no tahini in the house and a craving for hummus?
go down to the 7/11 by my house and buy hummus?
or wait 4 hours for an arab humus restaurant to open.
My first introduction to Arabic food was with bad hummus. It was "grainy" in texture, like it was from dry powdered reconstituted stuff. I was so unimpressed I didn't try it again for years. The same was true for me with Indian food, btw.
You should always know what are you ordering and whether it should be this way. Some places make traditional dishes where hummus is lumpy and grainy on purpose.
But most times, it means the hummus was improperly stored/made.

I was ****ing an Egyptian woman at the time and she said this stuff was Arabic food. We had a one night job at some Arabic club in Chicago.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...
Don't worry, no non-whites were created in the process.
I'm consitently stupid- Japher I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Feel like doing a Polymeet next December? I'll supply the snow shovel.

I thought we're trying to have a serious discussion? It says serious in the thread title!- Al. B. Sure
I also like Erasure. I'm 99% sure I'm gay and just don't know it yet.
If you like Erasure, you are 100% gay and everyone knows it.

I take it you're unfamiliar with that adjective. Sand doesn't have any grain in it either, and it's definitely grainy. It means much the same as "gritty."
This is patently untrue. Sand is by definition grainy, ie, made from grains of sand.
With respect to the OP, I like climbing up on the roof and sitting there for half an hour or so. I guess quite a lot of people like that, but I never see people on the other roofs around me
