Former president's sex lives were not public but no former president was ever being sued for it. They apparently had better judgement about who and when they would ****.
I guess I just long for the good ole days, where the press laid off the president, and a lot of famous people. But you're probably right, they really weren't the good ole days.

Quite frankly, the sex part of it never really bothered me. It's not like he ran on the "virtuous" ticket like many others do.

A perfectly good Obama-bashing ruined by Clinton. Invisible man, indeed.

Seriously, anyone with a brain in their head realizes Bush was impotent and had no political capital left circa 2006. (In reality circa 2005.) He was beholden to every manner of special interest in congress in order to fund Iraq and couldn't say no if he tried. Once the Dems took over in 2006, he was a figure head. All power resided with the Dems at that point short of the bluster of a veto. ( a paltry 12 cast with 4 of them being overturned)

Yes, him not vetoing anything absolves Bush of any responsibility.

I know. However, I think the point always needs stressing. The Dems own 2006 forward.

But it did seem that no threats were involved to coerce her so not a great crime.
The threat is inherent in your authority. If you are the POTUS you don't have to make threats, it is there regardless. You can never be sure if the employee is consenting because of the fear of retaliation for refusing.

In other words, don't **** the help.

Understood, but that doesn't automatically mean it was from fear of retaliation. A lot of women probably get a little wet thinking about sucking off the President. And I forget, did he ask or did she bring it up?

rah, what would happen to your job if you were caught ****ing the help even if it were completely consensual?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a supporter of it. I think it's always a bad idea. But there's big difference between a middle-level IT manager and the President of the most powerful country in the world.

I don't think any worthy female would find my job glamorous. What's the point of being one of the most powerful people in the world, if you can't get a little head on the side.
