I can get onboard with that.

Obama was going to have to face this **** storm at some point (it was a promise that couldn't be kept). Politically it is better now than later if he wants a second term.

Yeah, I was never enamored with him. I preferred him over Clinton to be sure, but his biggest plus was that he wasn't Bush.

Even as a repug, not bush = Good. But even I preferred Clinton. (but that's because he was a repug in reality)

Only because he was forced to be and then the repugs got cocky and thought they could take him down. Idiots.

Hillary vs Repub would have been a very tough choice.

Yes, I realise that. I just think anyone that could put distance between themselves and GWB would gain ground. The more distance the better. Obama was the big winner in this regard.

Don't bother mentioning that. IT was still 100% Bush's fault. Just like when the economy finally comes around, the Dem's will take credit for it.

And since Hillary was such a loser. I assumed he had to be talking about her bj loving husband.
What was there not to love. Conservative fiscal responsiblity plus a little head. His only faults was that he liked ugly women.

Normally I agree with you and even ragged him on it, but come on, Congress (or anyone else for that matter) should be asking him about getting head in the white house. Did congress ever ask JFK if he was porking MM? No. Back then the president's private life wasn't fair game. What good is it to be president if you can't get a little head on the side?

Not to rehash that entire piece of history but the underlying point was that congress was asking about the perjury (which happened to be about sex). I don't think JFK ever lied about it under oath.
