        V-22:
Capacity: 24 troops (seated), 32 troops (floor loaded) or up to 15,000 lb (6,800 kg) of cargo (dual hook)
        Range: 1,627 km
        Price: 110 million USD.

        Mi-26:
Capacity: Up to 150 troops, 90 recommended
        20,000 kg cargo (44,000 lbs)
        Range: 1,952 km
        Price: 10 million USD.

So who the f*ck needs your JOKE, when you have a real aircraft at your disposal?
The V-22 was built for speed, it's not a high-lift helicopter. Know your stuff, comrade.

He didn't even know what a V-22 was. He clearly doesn't know what he's talking about.

Wow, it's 270 kmph faster. Great deal in terms of cost-efficiency!

            Summary:

            565 km/h vs. 295 km/h
            24 troops vs. 150 troops.
            6,800 kg vs. 20,000 kg.
            1,627 km vs. 1,952 km
110 mil USD vs. 10 mil USD

TOTAL: a flying clown vs. a really technologically advanced aircraft.

You're cute when you make up numbers and expect no one to call you on them.

              $10M for the Mi-26?

Latest estimates are 10-12. Which indicates a complete lack of quality materials, which explains why these things are brittle.

Flyaway cost for the V-22 is $68M currently, not $110M.

              Hidden costs. Mi-26 has a crew of 5, V-22 a crew of 2.

Yeah, I had an impression you were talking about the planes we don't have in our arsenal (F-22). And made a wrong assumption that you've made a typo ("V" located exactly under "F" at my keyboard).
                  V-22 is not a plane. It's a freaking hybrid. A complete joke.

V-22 is a plane. It has wings and engines to propel it forward.

The F-35B is not a plane either, I take it...

Even if so, it's still a huge difference.

America can afford to buy technologically-advanced new planes.

Most things are much cheaper in third world countries. It's why we outsource to ****holes like that.

The V-22 is built for speed. Russia doesn't have a comparative plane. Sorry.

I wouldn't give you a link in that case. It's hard to expect that in a google age, actually.

                            $10M for the Mi-26?
Wonna buy? I can sell ya a couple for $10M per unit.

                            Latest estimates are 10-12.
Wait a second. I've changed my mind - for $12M.
                            You want some?

Which indicates a complete lack of quality materials, which explains why these things are brittle.
Firstly, they are nowhere near as brittle as their north american flying circus counterpart.
Secondly, that indicates that V-22 is OVERPRICED piece of sh!t. Simple as that.

Flyaway cost for the V-22 is $68M currently, not $110M.
                            Ok, if you say so.
Still for that money ($68M) you can buy SIX Mi-26.
And it would take them:, ok, nearly double time (1.91 longer) to deliver 37.5 times more troops than a single V-22 can; 17.6 times more cargo than a single V-22 can; into a distance 1.2 times greater then a single V-22 can.

                            Hidden costs. Mi-26 has a crew of 5, V-22 a crew of 2.
Because it's ****ing huge piece of machinery. Not like that flying clown.
It is the largest, the most powerfull and the most advanced cargo (and any) helicopter ever created.

That can do less and can do worse than their less cheaper counterparts from abroad and that are actually less advanced (but who cares? if they told you they are expensive - that means they are better, right?).
I give you that. You guys are really dumb, since you let your government to spend taxpayers money that way. But nobody ever expected American citizens to be smart. Not me at least.
