Hell, I try to be nice as heck to my daughter (22 this week) since she'll choose what home I end up in.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Sounds like I'd fit in just fine.

Seriously though, Baby Boomers have been the most indulgent, wasteful, entitled generation in history. It comes as no surprise that they'll pass the buck instead of reaping what they sow.

Actually, if you look at the numbers, the U.S. has been running budget deficits pretty constantly since the Great Depression. As a percentage of GDP, the deficit now is lower than the one we had in '45.

Reagan [a Greatest-Generation guy] ran up more debt than all the Presidents in U.S. history up until that time. W, a boomer but a disciple of Reagan, did the same. And the last time the budget was balanced was by President Clinton, a boomer.

I'm not saying that the Boomers haven't spent too much. But so have members of the Greatest Generation. And so have members of Generation X and Y.

BTW: Have you been saving the 5-10% of your salary, like I told you to?

Really? Getting old and ending up in a home sounds like such a pathetic and terrible way to end your life...

I saw my godfather as a shell of his former self from the effects of senility - it is one of the most terrible things I have ever experienced and I won't be going down that road myself.

In 1945 we were fighting WORLD WAR TWO.

You are correct, although it wasn't that hard to figure out. Few people on Poly are that retarded.

Yeah, that is one of the most retarded things I've seen on here in a while. Makes me wonder what were they feeding baby boomer children. I can only assume their food was tainted with lead and mercury.

They all destroyed their brains by smoking too much weed in 1970 and snorting too much coke in 1985
