I've spent enough time in America to know that there are some nice places to live there, but New York frankly isn't one of them. Big cities - been there, done that. Actually, I could possibly make an exception for Boston.

As for England: Scotland > England, let alone Wales... If I was to live in England, most likely it would be Bristol, as that is probably my favourite English city - coincidentally next to Wales.
