How about some input from you: what's the scuttlebutt about Morgan Stanley? They're advertising in my department, and I sent along a resume. If they make an offer are they still going to be around in 6 months when I'll be able to start? I just ordered a copy of Heard on the Street (should be here this week). Some people seem to claim that half of all quant interview questions come almost straight out of it. Have you heard from any quant geeks if that's true? Also, how hard are they? Putnam exam level or somewhat easier?

Don't really know. I stopped looking at finance after last September, so I'm not really up on job interview process. There also aren't any real quants at my school, at least at the level you'd be qualified for.
How's the job search going for yourself, by the way?
