A former colleague of mine came to his job interview dressed in military boots, jeans, t-shirt and had green colored punk hair. He got the job because he had the qualifications.

Another guy who answered his mobile phone not one time, but three times during interview didn't got a job.

Oh, if I was going to an interview and was asked to meet at a McD, I would not want to work for that company.

Regardless I'm about to cut him loose, since he is starting to talk about ordering food: angry:
You had an interview in a McDonald's (Heck ANY restaurant what so ever) and expected the interviewee not to eat anything?? Are you out of your freaking gourd, you should be PAYING for his meal if you set the interview in a restaurant?

Does this remind anyone of the Seinfeld episode with the intern for Kramerica?

He's not interning to work with a "company," he's interning to work in the office of an elected official. You people seem to think he's interviewing to be my gay busboy.

Facts are facts: I have a trust fund so large I could buy the McDonalds. Paying for his $2 hamburger is just as insulting as the kid showing up in jeans and tennis shoes. And capping that ass was not an option because there were little children who could easily make a positive identification. Eyewitness testimony against a white man in a suit never stands up in court unless it's little kids doing the talking.

I'm frankly surprised you still draw breath. Taiwan's days have been numbered since the nineteenth century. I'd suggest you stop posting here and invest in a bomb shelter and some porn.

I would think that an unpaid summer intern position would not merit dressing up for the interview. At that interview, if the hiring agent becomes interested, then the dress code for the job can be conveyed. I am an established professional and I would leave my coat and tie in the car if invited to an interview in McDonalds.

It sounds like a position that people would stampede to for the opportunity.

Is this a joke thread? I really hope so

So you're having a job interview in a McD restaurant? That's a weird place to have a job interview, unless you want to hire him to work at that place

You get mad at him for wanting something eat? If someone told me to come to a job interview at a restaurant (no matter what restaurant, cheap or expensive) I would expect food (or at least something to drink) to be on the table (unless they want to hire me to work at that restaurant)

You want to kick him out for wearing clothes that fits to the restaurant? By having the interview at McD, you're straight out telling him that he should wear what he likes, because it's not important.

People don't go to McD dressed in suits, they come there in the clothes they feel comfortable in.
If I were him I would definately consider walking out, due to feeling insulted by the situation
This space is empty... or is it?
