        There are some really good love scenes (as described from a female perspective) in the "Earth's Children" novels by Jean M. Auel. Pick up "The Valley of Horses" and go to the end of the novel - the male lead is having sex with the female lead for the first time. He's not a virgin, and she technically isn't, but all the times she's had sex before were fairly traumatic and he's having to be very gentle and tender to her. And it works.

              She didn't look like that when she wrote Valley. She was in her 20s or early 30s when she wrote it, and her photo on the inner jacket cover was very striking.

                "The Guide to Getting It On" is quote good for a primer.

                Beyond that, you just start and roll with it.

                Be very attentive, and ask what she likes, but not too annoying.
