if poly is supposed to be a ´family site´, i might remark, that i regard various borders as being crossed by post#520. + i dont get the joke behind it...

Plus, as I have pointed out on many occasions, what is deemed offensive, in this case this should not be allowed, is all subjective.

But, not for me to decide i assure you, all depends upon the mood of the Mod/Admin/Staff when they look at it.

If in fact somone is offended by a post/remark, it should be removed.

But, Poly People will often not raise an eyebrow to some remarks/posts while publicly flogging and chastising others for what a select few find offensive.

One could simply add a few words in that post and all Hades would follow...

Personally, i am not offended - i dont have kids. But if i had, say, a 12-year-old son/daughter, who i knew would play civ, i would not quite be able to recommend this site to him/her, if posts like that one can be found here. And yeah, to me at least, there is quite a difference in boobs and penis. Just think of their purposes. You can see boobs on magazine covers in normal grocery stores, or ads on TV, here - no problem - but you´d never see a penis in grocery stores or a TV-commercial. I mean, there is quite a differnce between the ´boobs for boys´ (a pic AC once posted in the Funny picture thread) and a dildo, right?

But again: Personally, i couldnt care less - i dont have kids...

This has been my point of contention all along, its not that something is or is not offensive so much, it depends on the mood of the person reviewing.

No dig to Staff or Admin or Mods, just we are allowing one thing one day but fussing about something not as bad another.

But, like has been said before and I'll repeat since it sums it up:

If ya dont like it, dont post here.................

I have to say it must be good advice, many here have been adhering to it
